Notre Dame - Ho Chi Minh Photo

Photographer’s Note

Just a simple photo to show an important monument of Ho Chi Minh - the Cathedral of Notre Dame. It's not very old, it dates from the 19th century and it's one of the biggest churches built by the French Empire. It's very simple inside, as we can see on the photo, but it has impressive dimensions and it's worth a visit.

Oi Anabela,
sua foto lembra muito a Igreja Matriz de Franca SP, minha cidade natal (tenho fotos dela no TE). O interior é muito parecido, apesar das igrejas sempre seguirem um padrão semelhante.
Aliás, você inspirou-me para, quando estiver em minha cidade, fazer algumas fotos do mesmo padrão.
Vejo que você usou tripé ou estabilizou a câmera pelo tempo de exposição de 5 segs.

Não é fácil fotografar em interiores de igrejas, nunca sai à primeira o que pretendemos. Esta tem boa luz e cor e parece-me que a porta estava toda aberta para entrar luz. Boa nota.

An impressive house of worship!
The fine interior is well captured, you make well use of present light and the details are sharp...
A pleasant composition, the central point of view works well and the image has a fine feeling of depth!

Great depth with excellently build point of view that also created good symmetry widely. Yellow interior is more attractive with brown stripes and banks. Clarity and sharpness of your photo are wonderful.

wow, não esperava ver uma super igreja europeia nas fotos do Vietnam, Anabela. Gosto da escala e da simplicidade com destaque para alguns pormenores coloridos, como é o caso do altar que parece ter um céu por detrás. Excelente perspectiva incluindo as pessoas espalhadas nos bancos.

Olá Ana,
Belíssima imagem de interior de igreja, a luminosidade captada está estupenda. Impressionante, eu me senti dentro da Capela do Colégio Arnaldo, em Belo Horizonte (achei, na internet, uma foto do interior da capela para veres a incrível semelhança. A arquitetura e até as cores das colunas são muito parecidas. Mas parece que esta igreja que fotografaste é bem maior. Eu já postei uma foto do Colégio Arnaldo, há algum tempo atrás. A entrada que se vê na minha foto não é a da Capela, é do setor administrativo do colégio; a capela fica do lado oposto.

You seemed to get good lighting condition for this interior shot. The 5s exposure shows very nicely all the details of the fine architecture here. Good symmetry shot.

Tem um ar agradavelmente "fresco". Acho-a muito bonita na sua aparente simplicidade, que disfarça a grandeza impressionante. O PdV, perspectiva e enquadramento estão impecáveis, soubeste tirar partido da simetria e da luminosidade.
É impressionante como está tão nítida, estive quase para escrever que tinhas tido sorte com a boa iluminação quando reparei que tinhas usado 5(!!!) segundos.
