Po Klong Giarai Towers
This is all of the Towers. They lie approximately 7 km east of the center of Phan Rang, near Thap Cham Railway Station. This group of four towers is the remainder of the group of six constructed during the 13th century. The small tower which I posted on the 18th June 2005 is in right.

The main tower was dedicated to Jaya Indravarman IV (1151-1205)was called by the other names as Po Klong Girai, Po Klong Garai or Po Klău Girai who, according to the legend, he is the child of Po Sah Ino Goddess bravely suffered from leprosy at childhood and was cured by God Snake. He builted the impoundment Chaklin (Nha Trinh) and two ditchs (Male ditch, Female ditch) for the argicultural developpment at local. Despite the passage of time, much remains of the four-sided, 21.59 m high tower. During excavation work of the area, French archaeologists found a number of gold and silver bowls and jewelers. Recently during restoration work, other gold bowls were found.
