| We were driving through some of the Vietnamese countryside on our way to the Great Cao Dai temple in Tay Ninh, and we stopped to take a photo of this enormous buffalo. It was tethered in a field on the side of the road, and took a particular interest in me when I took the first photo. Buffalo are ubiquitous; I have another photo of a buffalo cart here and will also post a photo of someone plowing with them in Cambodia. I guess they're "tractor power" in the countryside, and they're certainly powerful enough! |
