Photographer’s Note

Thien Mu Pagoda is situated on Ha Khe hill, on the north bank of the Perfume River a few miles southwest of central Hue.

A complex of monastic buildings lies in the center, where the monks are usually involved in their daily routines of cooking, stacking wood, and whacking weeds. Novices might also be seen practicing their calligraphy.

Here, they are just coming out of a praying session.

A pleasant scene caiught at the right moment, with the pupils each looking in a different direction and forming indiviuals as well as a group.

Hello Andre,

Nice title and a very well composed picture. Slightly overblown highlights on the slippers but other then that the quality is great. The boys' little strips of hair look interesting. I wonder what significance do they have.

j'ai des photos exactement du même endroit.
Y a pas mal de pagoda dans ce coin là. Mais celle-là est vraiment là plus "cool" . Il y a vraiment une super belle vue sur la perfume river juste en bas des marches devant l'espèce de "tour".
J'aime bien ta photo. Elle n'a pas le même genre d'impact visuel que 99% de tes photos. Mais moi j'aime bien, surtout en raison du regard du garçon vers toi.
La lumière avait l'air "dure" sur leur "robe". C'est rare qu'il y a de telles zoes clippées dans tes photos.
