[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
These women are busy transplanting young rice plants from the nursery into the fields. This is back-breaking work and as you can see, they have mud almost up to their knees.

Mai Chau is a beautiful place home to different hill tribes, mostly White Thai if I recall correctly.

a very nice scene Emily. I like and the landscape and the composition you did here.
Very nice with the reflection in the rice paddy.

Very nice image. The imposing mountain in background makes an interesting contrast with the rice fields. The people working there adds a new interest to the picture. Congratulations ..

Hi Emily! Very nice scene of the start of planting season! It's early in the morning but looks like everybody's in the fields! The place is very very nice - so peaceful and very calm! IMHO, I would crop out the overexposed sky, focus on the farmers and go closer to them. I had a lot of farmer/ricefield shots, and I think the best images are those taken when you're closer to them. rgds.

Great stuff Emily, magic location with good composition and exposure, informative note, excellent work.
