In one of the villages around Can Tho, along the Mekong River I saw this lady cutting some wood in the luscious little courtyard of her home. It was a hot midday and in spite of the hour and the heat, she was cutting this board with extreme determination.
It really is a more than pleasant experience to stroll around these villages. There are only tiny little roads only made to walk or to bike; there is a maze of little side streams of the "Mekong Giant" and the according little tottering bridges.
And what's more, is the utterly kindness of the people that is heart warming and welcoming. For one or another reason, I did not dare to approach this determined lady though...

What an aks she handle still on her age with her two hands fully concentrated and determed to cut this piece of wood, well shot moment with sunny colors and good DOF, Sabine, good colors of this scan, maybe a tiny local sharpness ?

Hello Sabine. For some reason I missed this one the other day. it is good timing, her posture and her expression are both very good, the DoF is also quite good. nice colors and light as well. Bien hecho.

Il n'y a pas d'age pour la retraite la bas ;o), mais les plus ages s'activent, je crois que c'est la recette de la longevite...bien sur il y a le riz et le pho, mais ca, c'est me vision de la chose.
