I'm standing along the shores of the river in Hoi An, waiting for a small boat to take me along the river.
My eye felt on this old lady, waiting to paddle me through a small journey of serenity.
I know I will step on board but first I want to behold this moment.
The lines and curves in front of me become a walk of life.
The tottering of her little boat searches for the balance of life.
The mirror image of the lady dissolving in the water reflects the transience of time.
For a moment I'm living in the haze of time.
The title “The Haze of Time” is a line from a David Gray song called “The other Side” from the album “A New Day at Midnight”. |

Dag Sabine,
deze vrouw had blijkbaar geen schrik om op het randje van de boot te zitten. Veel gelijkenis van haar kledij met de "dingen" die in het bootje erachter liggen...
groetjes,
Luc.
Bonjour Sabine. Nice composition, good you stick with 3 people. At first, I didn't like the bridge and I was going to suggest cropping it. BUT, I think it is good, it closes them in and makes their environment more real.

Sabine, nice scene you captured here. The composition is very good with those three triangle hats that create a triangle between them. It is good that the main character is looking t you, and there is even a reflection as a bonus.
Cheers,
Alon
Sabine
Nice pose of the lady here, looking very relaxed. The reflection is great and the bridge works nicely in the distance. A nice portrait and well delivered.
