Photographer’s Note
Street food in Saigon is great!
This man was selling cord - either fresh, boiled or BBQ'd.
The floroescent light is battery operated and is used at night.

I like this snatch of daily life - they are going about their business without worrying about the photographer snapping them.
Some nice colours and a crisp image with the little boy (her son, i guess) watching intently.
Shame about the pole bisecting the vendors face, but that's a minor grip - a very nice image.

Hi Anthony, nice POV and composition though it's a bit grainy. It's funny how different cultures can have such similar points. I've lived both in Egypt and Lebanon, and in both countries you'll find people selling corn (mainly BBQd) on street carriages very similar to this one. TFS! Betty

Zdravo Anthony. Nice bit of interaction. You captured well the street vendor's role in this part of the world. Nice colours. The whole thing has a feel of photojournalism. I like the patient stance of the child. Well done.Klaudio

During my school years in 'Nam, BBQ corn was my favorite — especially the corn coming from the bank of Clamps Islet on Perfume River (Hue city).
Today, I still enjoy corn, but we are missing the part of stading besides the mobile stall on a street, waiting in line...
Thanks for a piece of memory.
Regards,
MQ
