Right at the end of our visit to Sapa, my wife and I met this playful, adorable Black H'mong girl. Unlike most of the young girls hanging around the Royal Hotel preying upon the tourists, she wasn't trying to sell us anything and was very much interested in playing and talking with my wife who is also Vietnamese.

While my wife and her were carrying on, I was able to capture this side profile.

Hi Doug, I love this photo. The DOF is superb and the little girl's face is amazing, with great colour and light. I like the way she's looking away while playing with that ball (looks like a plum??) I would have cropped a few pixels from the bottom, so as to hide the finger.
