Saigon River

| Saigon River, part of the Mekong Delta system is alive day and night. This view is downstream and it is around 80 km from the ocean, but still tidal. |

Hi Murray,
A good POV of the Saigon river and of the boats, the photo has a good composition, DOF and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.

Funny thing that I see nose of hydrofoil down there, on Mekong water. I'm almost sure it's Meteor or Raketa or something like that, made in USSR in the days before it's passing. It's a good transport, quick and comfortable, lots of such ships in all of countries with wich USSR had dealings.
Strange feeling, to see this ship made in the empire that once ruled half of the planet. Empire is gone, but ship is still there, and working. Strange.

Hi Murray,
I never imagined the Saigon River looked like this. I think it's the lovely forground that you've included that makes it seem so beautiful. That is an amazing tidal range!!
Regards, Pat
Hello Murray! Nice hazy view of the Saigon River. The photo just oozes with humidity for me. I like the angle of the composition sharing the great view. Well done!
