Lovely shot, Manny. Very serene. I especially like the ripply reflections of the boats. I do like the silhouette of the boatman, but I have to admit that the colors of the other two are so beautiful that I think I like the other shots even more.

Excellent composition. Lots of depth to photo. Really like the mist in the background. Really adds to the sillouettes, even tho they are zones apart. Sillouettes are marvelous. Thanks for sharing your technique to clone to make the two boats uniform. I really like to sepia toned one, much better than the muted color ones.

Simple and beautiful. Very oriental atmosphere. B/W works very-very well.
Great reflection, too. I like this one most of your three great shot in the series.

Great composition Manuel.

I like tour vietman boat series. The color tones are great, the fog give mistery and the watermirror it's excelent.

I love this mist as it brings such a special magic to your shots, Manny! It makes always the boats to emerge out of it like ghosts... Perfect composition and details. The water reflections add more depth and beautify the image. Excellent job!

Yes Manny, It looks really fine in B&W! I think I prefer this version. Contrast is perfect to me and mist is really well rendered. Moreover, there are very nice reflections on the water and the POV works really fine. I like this version best. Beautiful.

Yes, it is just wonderful, Manny. I can see how it is your favorite out of the three, I would say it's mine, too. It really excels composition-wise, and there is just such an amount of lovely detail to be seen on the boats. The sepia also works really well on this one, as it seems to make the reflection stand out better, and to also enhance the "misty" scenery towards the background. Great shot.

mine too! It's a true beauty! the mist makes it so mysterious and you can almost feel how quite and early it must have been. Good choice to convert to B&W/sepia. This way time stands still. the composition with the large amount of water and the blurry reflection is excellent. compliments!!

Conversion from colour works nicely here with the strong silhouettes. The composition with the boats to the right is nice and I like having just the barest hint of one of the islands in the background.

I like how the shoreline behind the boats is faintly visible; it adds a depth to this scene which might be missing if you'd had a shallower DOF. Excellent photo!

I also like how you've been posting color and bw versions of the same issues. It permites us to see diferent tipe of details and moods over a certain theme.
