[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
During our trip to the Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, I saw these schoolchildren having a field trip. I took a picture of one of them, then of another. Before long, around 40 kids were right in front of me. This was when I took my picture The Spirit of Vietnam".

Everyone was looking at our direction. After a while, their teacher asked them to form a queue. They couldn't take their eyes off me. I came closer and took this shot. Their happiness was restrained (because of their teacher, who was at the background) but I could still feel their natural youthfulness and innocent glee.

A nice picture Manuel.. I love all those kids. Very nice. The "main" caracter in it seem afraid..

Great shot, Manuel. They certainly do seem to be 'holding' each other back. And after reading your note, I like how you have managed to include their teacher in the background. Good DOF and clarity. Well done.

I agree with Claude. This boy seems to be worried..., I like the composition here. The woman in the right nicely balances whole image.
Well done!!!

Great mix of expressions. Beautiful tones, excellent DOF, well composed. I like how they all are in white.

Great photo! The expressions on their faces, with their teacher in the background (explaining the expressions on their faces), is very special. A moment very well captured. These photos of yours are inspiring, to say the least!!!

YOu're really so good at this.

Wonderful Manny ! Lovely picture with beautiful child !
I like the teacher in background, it´s perfect !
Congratulations !

Another fantastic one from you, this is becoming so boring! ;-)))

A great 'people' shot. Only 2 are directly looking at you. One is apprehensive & the other is appraising. Nice contrast.

Votre note rend parfaitement la retenue des enfants. Une inquiétude dûe à leur professeur.
Encore et toujours une très belle prise de vue Manny.
Your note returns the reserve of the children perfectly. A concern which had to their professor. Still and always a very beautiful catch of sight Manny.

This is realy nice,
Good composition, very nice dof,and the colours are great. You did again a great job here Manuel

WOW Manny ;-) after these two shots (with yesterday's), there are no more possible posts of kids! :-) How can they be surpassed in beauty and simplicity! the mere essence of life and beauty!
you impress me my friend!;-) i am being very sincere in telling you that!:-) this is no patting in the back! This white line of kid is breathtaking, and the yellowish color of some of the BG gives it a special mood. Excellent DOF with a sharp, yet soft for the better, focus on the second and to a lesser extent, third kid. The image of the teacher in the back brings yet another reading of the photo revealed through your note.
Together with yesterday' shot, this one goes to my mausoleum of grand pictures! congratulation Manny!!!
you deserve 1.000.000 points for this one!

Great photo, Manuel.

I like the composition, the DOF here work very well.

Well done

One more great kid shot, Manny. I love the expressions. My favorite is the one closest to the left side of the shot. Also, even though she's in the background, I like the teacher's expression a lot -- maybe "restrained exasperation." This shot reminds me a bit of your "boy code" shot - the way the kids are so close together and on has his arm around the other's neck.

A very nice catch Manuel. A great use of DOF here because the only kid that looks afraid is also the one that is sharp. They have in fact four different moods. Strong and emotional picture with very good sharpness and natural colours.

I like the title you came up with for this one, Manny, it's so perfect for the scene you captured. The white of their school uniforms seems to make their faces stand out even more; I'm particularly absorbed by the 2nd from the left who is giving this big-eyed look into your lens. A great mixture of expressions you caught here.

I like the way they are all dressed in white, but still differ so much in face expressions and mood, Manny! :-) Even the way they are looking or not at you is making them such amusing characters. Excellent children's capture again!

Wow, what an amazing repetition, I like each and every one of them and their lovely expessions. Excellent compsition, dof and a great shot, Manny.

Great DOF and great eye contact on the second boy. The repetition of faces and white shirts is great too. Very well done.
