Here's another one of my Vietnam airport pictures. After I took the picture of the little girl (Raw Expectations), these two boys followed me wherever I went. They pleaded me to take their pictures too. It was with gusto and enthusiasm that I did oblige.

Then I asked them for their address coz I wanna send the picture to them. They don't know how to write it. Before long, I had the whole clan in front of me asking me to have their pictures taken. I had fun.

They were part of the send-off party of their relatives who were going "abroad" in search of a greener pasture.

(I deleted my post a few minutes ago. Looking back at it, I know i need to do more sharpening. I will re-post it later.)

no resharpening needed for me Manny;-) this is tantamount to what friendship has always meant and will always mean...your portrait is spot on and makes me very happy. it is such a happy and innocent scene. two little posers, but here for the better i must say...lol
looking at some of my shots from Italy, i feel a bit disappointed cos i used extensively the aperture priority program (A) with the f1.8 aperture. and I realise that when using the autofocus it is usually quite badly focused... better when io do it manually. did you encounter the same pb? please HELP! :-)

Wonderful dual portrait. The contrasting angles are nice.

Wonderful picture Manny !
Very good expressions of a great friends !
Congratulations

Great portrait. I really like the poses. Once again, the natural colors are amazing and the composition is very good. I also like the limted DOF. Very well done Manny!

Well I agree with Eric, it looks sharp enough, but it does seem to be focussed on the near shoulder. I'm interested how you reply to Eric's point about the auto focus. You've done a very good sales job on the camera, and since there's a bonus that my old Nikon zoom will fit, I've started saving up for one.

The sweet caress of friendship is well described in thisd photograph. The way theeir faces almost touch each other is a very tender image. Excelent shallow DOF in this one.

Again the fine portrait in the best setting regarding all details in the photo. Natural posing and an overall appealing pix..

They look quite at ease with you, Manny - seems the moment children see you they are ready to open their hearts for you! :-) The bright red T-shirt of the boy makes a fantastic colour spot and outlines their both faces perfectly. I always enjoy your children portraits with utmost pleasure. This one is excellent too! :-)

Toujours le même talent pour saisir ces regards Manny. La qualité est toujours au rendez-vous.
Très bien fait (une fois encore).
Merci Manny.
Always the same talent to seize these Manny glances. Quality is always with go. Very well done (once again). Thank you Manny.

You really have a magic touch to capture unusual, sometimes mysterious, but always with a plenty of emotion. Very nice catch, I like the two head positions and their refreshing smile. Another excellent one Manuel.

The attitude of the two kids shows that there is a real complicity between the photographer and these models. Very beautiful image, put well in scene.
Beautiful work Manuel, Congratulation.

Great posing you captured of the two boys, Manny. Very engaging to see their infectious smiles and their bright eyes. A very uplifting and colorful scene.

Nice shot again, Manny, with soft light and nice smiles. I'd prefer a natural background, but I still like the diferenet angles of their heads. Well done.

hmm...friends forever...their their expression says it alla bout their friendship...nice potrait.

Perhaps the reason they follow you is because they know what great models they will be. A very natural picture. Nice colors. I like this alot.
