Hoi An Ancient Town is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site.

This picture's taken on Japanese Bridge - the symbol of Hoi An!

It looks as if the figure is walking into a television screen. Nice quiet scene in the background. Good depth. I like the small part of the lamp in the upper right corner.

Some notes would be nice.

Hi Nhat,

Beautiful composition and exposure. I like how the sky is slightly overexposed, it gives us a better feel of where the guy is coming from. Good use of black and white, it makes for a very powerful image. Great job, thanks for sharing!

Hi Nhat,

Very nice shot. Good POV and placement of the subject. Crisp and clear composisition. The sky is slightly over exposed.

hello Nhat
great composition and B&W
from dark to bright:)
Best Regards.

a very appealing photo, well metered and cropped (i like the lamp top right), the black frame also works well here.. you captured the vendor in a perfect pose, just stepping over the threshold... a nice rendering in b&w, and the fact that no references to modern life are seen make the shot truly timeless.. my only criticism is that perhaps some of the harsh light could have been better dealt with in ps.. anyways a nice job!

hello Nhat,

Beautiful b&w photo, great compo. But it is so quiet in the street. I was there last month but it was always full of people and it was difficult to make photos without tourists standing in the way :D
indeed, great little town !!!!
greetings, inn ;)
