Can we have our bridge back...?

| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
The lovely town of Ha Tien is traditionally reached by a pontoon bridge.
All manner of vehicles pay a toll to cross (pedestrians go free), and every morning sections are removed to allow fishing boats to pass through to the "East Lake" here on the left.
Locals fish from it and there's a steady stream of shoppers, workers, policemen, and schoolchildren coming and going.
But there's a new high-level concrete bridge further out in the estuary - fine for cars and motorbikes, but not for pedestrians and cyclists, cyclo-riders and handcart-pushers......
Next year the army want their pontoon bridge back and sadly another piece of old Vietnam will be gone. |

Hi Brian
Breat perspective and compo, Looks amazing
Good colors and light management also
Congrats, TFS/Kind regards
Nice shot Brian. Very muted colours but the yellow gives it life. I particularly like the shadow of the bike. Excellent capture and a really good note. Best wishes, Paul.
Nice story Brian, I didnt know that. I remember walkign over the bridge in a storm while it swayed.
Good perspective.
Nice wideangle view Brian. The walker with the yellow sweater creates a nice strong focal point and POV is excellent. I also like the shadow created by the woman and bicycle. A nice added touch to the photo.
Nice work
John
