More from a recent trip to the N.W. of Vietnam. I have to send out my warmest thanks to anson, a TE member, who organized this trip for myself and 3 others, and spent long hours driving us to and from and all around the mountains. Because of his experience with, and knowledge of the area, I was able to visit many special places. Hopefully some of my photos reflect the beauty of this area.
Burned the sky a bit in PS. Adjusted levels. Increased contrast slightly
Brian

beatifull capture and color

hi Brian!
beautiful shot! and great colors too! but why does the sky have dark patches? were u trying to cover up for overexposed sky? these patches r spoiling the photo.

regards,
Nabarun.

Hi Brian,

Nice point of view here, with the little shed in the foreground, the curves a bit further and then the hills with a strong contrast in the further background. The mist creating a very nice depth here!
The burn to the right top was not really needed and I feel you were very specific in which parts were contrasted. The foreground could have done with a slight bit more contrast on the edges / highlighting. But I like it as is as well!!

Greetings and have a good weekend!
Dennis

Hi Brian,

Machu Picchu!?...no, but the settings look quite close with those terraces;-)...or rather it could have looked this way when the place was populated...cheers, arturo

Wonderful green colors and nice composition.

Hi Brian,
Never saw your images before, so i browsed a bit through your gallery to stop here. Although i like your first upload with the girl, it's this great landscape what got all my attention. My stay in northern Vietnam was full with rain, so seeing this i know what i have missed. It's a great landscape, with beautiful green colours and that house in combination with the terrace brings a touch of human life int he image...very good, i like it.
Regards, Henk

Hi Brian

beautiful landscape, like the inclusion of the shed and lovely light on the terraces, like it.

Regards
Derek
