Excellent capture of the old lady landing her catch. As well as the traditional conical hat it's interesting to see the traditional squatting position, which they all adopt. I wonder how many westerners even half her age could manage to sit like that. Worth getting up early for such a traditional activity.

Cette photo m'en rappelle une autre que tu avais postée du même endroit. Ici, le cadrage serré/vertical met bien en valeur cette femme qui se tient dignement malgré des conditions de vie pas forcément favorables. Les barques et les paniers dont j'aime bien la texture font un bel arrière plan.

Beau portrait de cette vieille femme aux traits burinés par des conditions de travail rudes. Le plan serré est judicieux et donne une bonne composition. Un bon portrait pris sur le vif ! Je trouve cependant que les éléments de droite et de gauche offrent trop de distraction à l'observateur qui a du mal à se concentrer sur le sujet principal ! Une ouverture plus importante aurait permis d'isoler la vieille dame !

This is a wonderful portrait of this old and still working lady.All my respect to her.You must know that I`m a physiotherapist and work a lot with people at about this age,with overweight,diabetes and many more problems,because of siiting on the sofa since maybe 10 or more years.They are so difficult to exercise.
Amazing sharpness,well contrasting colors and a nice surrounding with the equipment of these people living there.

c'est une photo très exotique, différente pour moi qui ne suis jamais allé à un tel endroit. La position de la femme est très importante, tellement caractéristique...tout comme le chapeau et le bateau.
J'imagine que c'était impossible, mais j'aurais aimé un point de vu juste un peu plus bas. Je me sens un peu trop à part de la scène, trop observateur et pas assez en interaction.
