bonjour Vincent
tu as capté de jolies couleurs malgré un temps maussade.J'aime beaucoup la cape de pluie violette se détachant du mur jaune,les volets rouges ,l'inscription bleue,la végétation verte,c'est une véritable symphonie de couleurs.La maison a beaucoup de charme et je crois comprendre que la ville entière est comme ça!Il parait qu'en juillet et août il pleut tout le temps(j'aimerais y aller l'été prochain, mais j'ai peur que le temps soit trop pluvieux),mais je vois que ce n'est pas mieux en avril.En tout cas,tes photos du Viet-Nam me donnent vraiment envie de partir là-bas!

Une image interessante en depit de ce temps a ne pas mettre un 20D ou un 40D dehors, les deux elements s'equilibrent bien et j'aime bien aussi la luminosite apportee par le pave mouille.

A small blur on the woman but i like that, gives a nice effect of movement in the picture. The different kind of colours gives a nice contrast and that blue sign is keeping my attention...very nice composed.

Le POV est très bien choisi et la pluie le donne une atmosphère très spéciale, un peu métaphorique d'un passé plus brillant. La cycliste donne une touche de couleur, de vie et de mouvement. J'aime bien le titre, il est très approprié.

L'atmosphère pluvieuse est bien rendue ainsi que la texture des sols mouillés où se réfléchit la lumière.. Bon timing avec la venue de la cycliste pédalant le long de l'ancienne savonnerie. Les bananiers, à droite, ajoutent une touche supplémentaire d'exotisme.

I think this is the very best kind of TE shot. It teaches one about the world without you saying a word. Cycling in the pouring rain tells of a hardy spirit, the huge blue pancho, the moss & mold tell us the area is very wet, the tropical plants speak of humid heat; the caligraphy, delicate lantern and upturned roof tips are very asian, while the ornamental ironwork reminds of the French roots. A wonderful composition.

Hello Vincent! When I visited Vietnam I did not have enough time to see Hoi An, I see that I missed some unique opportunities. This one is an excellent architectural, cultural, and climate capture all at the same time. Nice mix of sharp and blurred details to produce an image with much life.

This scene reminds my time in Vang Vieng, where I cycled with a similar rain coat many times. Good inclusion of her passing by, giving dynamism and human atmosphere to the interesting architecture.

Salut Vincent, content de t'avoir rappelé qq souvenirs avec ma photo, on est des chanceux d'avoir pu se rendre sur cette ile de la digue, c'est une sorte de paradis sur terre, rien n'a bcp changé a en discuter avec des locaux, certes qq voitures sont maintenant présentes sur l'ile mais elles se comptent sur le doigt de la main ...
J'aime bien lire le journal le monde et souvent dans le métro je m'évade sur la carte du monde et la météo mondiale ... souvent je vois des trombes de pluies programmées en asie du sud est, ta photo est la parfaite illustration de comment je m'imagine la zone ... elle est vraiment top cette photo avec la pluie diluvienne, colorée et avec cette réminiscence coloniale c'est très bien vu

j'aime beaucoup les photos de gens lorsqu'il pleut. Les gens ont toujours l'air pressé, sont souvent drôlement habillés , etc.
Ce qui est vraiment bien dans ta photo, c'est que la femme sur le vélo est bien mise en contexte avec la Savonnerie. Donc, c'est une image qui raconte une histoire. Il est facile de commencer une histoire à partir de telles photos.
visuellement , le signe bleu et la "fenêtre" peinte en rouge sont vraiment importants à l'image.
