This is a picture of the brilliant black & white Vietnamese photographer, Long Thanh. To keep in theme, I decided to take the shot in b&w. Hoping for a more 'artistic' result I aimed for a pensive photo as opposed to a camera focussed smile.
Long Thanh's amazing black & white photographs have received world wide acclaim, and have featured in galleries in Australia, England, the United States, as well as other parts of the world. Long still insists on using a camera he has been using for many years (even decades!!), and is now one of the few remaining black & white, non-digital photographers in the world.
His work is truly amazing, and I find his story fascinating. Well worth checking out on his website:
