| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
This shot doesn't offer a great deal of technical photographic brilliance - the lighting is not great, the sky is somewhat bland, and the foreground showcasing the rice fields barely makes for exquisite photography.
However!!.. for some reason I was determined to try and capture this moment. To me it paints a picture of daily life in country Vietnam (and all over various parts of Asia for that matter!!).
I like the way the local people are dotted through the field in their triangular straw hats, working with their traditional tools, doing the thing their people have done for generations - daily life in Vietnam represented in this shot one cannot dispute?!
Any suggestions as to how to make this shot more "interesting" would be warmly welcome. Possibly if I zoomed in closer and captured more of the people and less of the surroundings this could possibly bring out greater detail in the subject and make for a more interesting finish? Any comments welcome.
Thanks!
