Areca tree:
Areca catechu, known commonly as Betel palm or Betel nut tree or Pinang is a species of palm which grows in much of the tropical Pacific, Asia, and parts of east Africa. It is a medium-sized tree growing to 20 m tall, with a trunk 20-30 cm in diameter. The leaves are 1.5-2 m long, pinnate, with numerous, crowded leaflets.
Several species of Areca nuts, known for their bitter and tangy taste, are routinely used for chewing, especially in combination with the leaves of Betel, tobacco and calcium oxide (lime). This practice is popular among elderly people in southeastern Asia |

hello thanh,
the house in the photograph is more emphasized than the trees. i would prefer composing this photo in the way it emphasizes the trees directly. overall it is quite a nice work. tfs.
regards
omer

A great picture, though for me too it is more about the house than about the trees. The lovely make this seem like a nice place to live. Thanks, Thanh!
