at the edge of the terraced field,it's an activity of farmers.they were preparing to plant the new field.
it has a small barn that will be used for the rest also. farmers always wake up at the very early morning. that also makes a good smell of morning in my breath and makes fresh ambience.
i took it in the morning,while i was walking around a village in "chiang-dao",a district of chiangmai province. here is a paradise of the mountain climbing lover.

Hi Somkiat, I like this shot of the rice terraces taken from a diiferent vantage point as we are commonly used to. Interetsing what the farmer is doing there burning dried cuttings? while we have freshly planted rice weeds. Thanks for sharing...Alex

A typical rural scenery is well depicted!
I like to see the inclusion of activity, I don't quite know why he is burning something there but I guess he is clearing the field before planting new rice...

Swasdi krap, Khun Somkit. This is a lovely capture of thai rural life, at this time of the year,Somkiat, with the padis begining to fill with water, the rice beginning to sprout.Even the smoke from the firs is typical of this season.The color is soft and lovely, the light is good, coming off the water and the pattern fo the padis is so nice.It reminds me of any rural area in Thailand, before the rainy season begins. The bucolic view is beautiful, the lines on the fields, the water shining and the just planted rice sprouts make a very interesting pattern, which stands out much also because of your clever POV. The little house and the fire are well placed and along with the presence of the man and give another touch of human presence.
