This is a shot at sunset from Shirleys Heights lookout on the Caribbean island of Antigua. Shirleys Heights was one of several forts or lookouts built on the hills around the British naval garrison of English Harbor. Nelson was once stationed here as a lower officer in the West Indies fleet.
In the distance is the small rocky island of Redonda, an uninhabited island that until recnt times , had its own post box, a small manifestation to signify its colonial owners.
These days, this southern side of the island is populated by luxury sailboats and their crews and guests who trek up in cars and cabs for the sundown ritual and one of the best views in the islands |

Fabulous sea and sky (wonderful clouds) and I like the dark silhouettes of the people and the coastline. You've selected the perfect time and lighting. Colour and composition are good. Horizon's a bit tilted I think but overall a very impressive shot which deserves more critiques imo. Well done.
I just posted a picture from Antigua, taken at a resort on my honeymoon. We toured the island and enjoyed the view from where you took your photo. I took a bunch of pictures, but they were all during the day, so none capture such a dramatic mood as yours. Love the colors in the sky and their reflection in the water.
Great shot,
I wish I was there. Beautiful sunset. I added a WS to have abetter view of what is going on without loosing the essence of the moment.
I hope you will like it,
Cheers!
