This is nothing more than one of many, many thousands or resorts, complexes, vacationing facilities (all over the world) that are vacant, ready for sale, or lease, or renovation, or remodeling, or demolishing, or …or…or… Whatever !

For every one like this one – three others are being build right now – as we speak… More beautiful and more opulent than the old ones …

Your note sounds so falsely dramatic… (:-))))))

what a pity this luxury resort to be closed with these special kiosks that looks to the infinity sea.Great the vivid colours and the light that you recorded here with a superb blue sky.The good POV creates an excellent perspective and a great depth of field.Informative your note too.

Ok, I buy it, David :) Loved your note describing this place and I'm sure I would enjoy it as much as you if I was there. A ghost resort to explore, photograph and have a nice bath, completely alone. Yes, it would be a strange and interesting experience. Nice couple of shots with very appealing colors and impressive quality. This one is more attractive, but I like the interplay bettween the statues and that cloudy sky in the WS.

It must be an extraordinary experience to wander through such an abandoned luxury resort. Kind of fantastic remains of human craziness. The remains of the american empire after its decline :) Great mix of colors with the yellow of the constructions, the tropical sea and the beautiful sky.

Interesting examples of classical architecture, seems like there has been a lack of maintennance for some time!
I like the composition and the fine details, the view to the sea is still wonderful...

Hi David,
I guessed you and I, are pretty much on other things and a lot less on TE the last few months. From the look of things, most of those that have grown with us at the start of TE, are lightyears away in seeing works of others and commenting them.

For something so peaceful and resort like, up close it can be a bit disappointing and almost depressing. It is like a lonely summer by the beach. Reminded me of the saying, all the lights is on, but no one's home.

Hello David,

I see that you are in the Western Hemisphere, and indeed in the Northern and Western Hemisphere. The colors of Bahamas come through in this simple but lovely composition. Enjoy the 'Suburb of Paradise.' I have a feeling that you and Tan Yilmaz are the two most traveled Trekers.

Hello David

This scene reflects highly contrasting points. In the foreground, a wall damaged by the sun and by the time, but with some nuances unmatched in the handling of light and color, highlighting a spectacular background.

The atmosphere of loneliness and abandonment perhaps, determine the beauty in its composition. Almost ironic!!. Well done.

Hi David,
The contrast between the turquoise sea and the muddy green scum in the pool is way more dramatic than your note. It reminds a lot of several resorts I've seen in Mexico.

Hi David,
this place seems that it had to be very elegant and agreeable for a few vacations, and it is incredible that it is left.
On your photo, I like the setting and the good graphical balance created between the light and the shades on these damaged elements.
And also the sky, the clouds and the sea with a few very beautiful colors.

Hi David,
The colors and the pov of the photo are truly beautiful. The blue sky and emerals sea is superb. It has the sad iar of a desrted summer placed visited in the winter. The sharpness also very good.
