Photographer’s Note
The city of Cartago takes the role as the religious capitol of Costa Rica. This can be seen symbolically by these church ruins at Avenue 2 and Calle 2.
It almost looks like this picture was photoshopped, but during the rainy season in Costa Rica the sky looks that white for most of the day which made for a interesting shot.
