Photographer’s Note
Catholicism is the official religion of Costa Rica, with about two-thirds of the people ("Ticos") belonging to that faith. There are Catholic churches in most every city or town - most face west and most have a football (soccer) field in front.
We visited this beautiful church on our way from San Jose to Orosi.
