Photographer’s Note
L'Irazu est un volcan situé à l'est de la capitale San José du Costa Rica. On y monte par une route depuis Cartago. Son sommet est pourvu de 2 cratères et d'une plaine de cendre. Le cratère principal forme un lac. Sa dernière activité remonte à 1964.

A fine landscape view, well composed to show the outlines of the crater. Good natural colours as well.

A marvelous - and at the same time somewhat intimidating - look down the crater, Jacques. The lake look wonderful and you've managed to capture the steep slopes well, including just a glimmer of the foreground. And those clouds really completes the impression. Very well done!
