This image was taken on a trip to Cuba earlier this year. The photo was taken in the small colourful town of Trinidad in the late afternoon. This old fellow has such an interesting face and I really like how his eyes are in shadow creating a sense of mystery about him. What do others think? I would love to hear your feedback. Hi Michele,

Welcome to TE. What a good start with an exceptionally well taken shot. The colors are really nice and lighting well managed. The picture quality is good however you could take full advantage of the image dimensions allowed by TE (800px x 800px) and file size (200kb). Nevertheless its a good shot.

On an aesthetic note, I really like the lowered PoV giving full focus to the man. You are spot on about the mystery created by the visor of his hat.

good portrait with the focus exactly on the face. The light is a bit hard due to daytime..
I like the diagonals to be found everywhere..

I am very happy to know your gallery. You like portraits and this one is really fantastic. I like the light and the shadow and the amused glance which we discover under the hat.
The unity of colors brings a lot also.
