Photographer’s Note
My daughter, Patricia, and I found ourselves competing for the best picture of this spectacular sunset in Bayahibe, Dominican Republic. Though I must admit that she got some impressive shots, she filled her memory card and while she fumbled for an extra card, I was able to get this one unique take. By the time she got her card into the camera, the "yolero" (boatman)was gone.

What an incredible shoot, You have been in a beautiful place.
I like sunsets pictures, but this one is really great. I like the line between the red sky and the dark blue of the sea.
well done

Hi Mike,
Beautiful one. Colours of sky and sea are well in harmony. Composition is good. Even if the sun is almost in the centre, presence of the boats make this dynamic. I also like lining of clouds and ripples on the water.
