Sunrise at Boca Chica IV Photo

Photographer’s Note

Now that the warm weather seems to finally starting to come, I felt like posting another souvenir of my last Summer holidays, another sunrise view.

Boca Chica is a popular beach some 30 Km East of Santo Domingo, the capital of the country. Apart from two or three major hotels, of which only one has its own private beach, most of the people that frequent the beach are locals. Tal como aí, aqui na Austrália hoje também é feriado. Para mim, a grande diferença é que como estou na sonda os dias são todos iguais!!!
As duas fotos são bonitas mas acho que prefiro a do WS por causa do céu com mais azul e talvez com mais luminosidade.
É verdade, o nascer do sol pode também proporcionar fotos lindíssimas. Tenho visto alguns muito bonitos quando estou no mar.

Olá José,

La Republica Dominicana is one of the favourite destinations for Canadians, however I have never been there. Perhaps is time for me to start visiting more countries :-) Excellent shot with nice warm colours to enhance the mood of the sunset. The picture is clear and well composed. A beautiful place to show us José. Thanks.

Olá José,
a warm sunrise which looks a bit like the more often presented sunsets. I like the orange and blue in the sky, the clouds are a good addition. The place below is peaceful and all well done. The workshop has more for me, maybe by the integration of the two poles instead of one, don't know really.

Ola Jose,
a first rate panoramic capture of Boca Chica beach.The subdued light, with the sun still painting pastoral colors in the clouds makes this a great shot.The silhouettes of the cape in the middle of the scene,make the capture more interesting.Informative your note too.

I wish you would tell the weather man in NE England that the warm weather is arriving.;D
This is a beautiful sunrise image. As well as the colour, which always appeals, I like the gentle ripples where the light hits the water. I can imagine sitting peacefully watching the sun start its work for the day. Well done

Comparando com o calor que esteve hoje, esta foto até parece menos estival :-)
Não está mal, mas já tenho visto melhores nasceres do sol. Talvez tivesses podido aproveitar melhor esse poste (e cais?) à direita, não sei.

Esta foto é um postal lindissimo. As cores e definição estão muito boas. Gosto do pequeno ondular da água pois cria um feito bonito.

Olá José,
Estupendas estas imagens! Difícil dizer qual das duas é melhor, cada uma tem detalhes que as tornam insubstituíveis. O azul do céu (como disse o António) e a linha do horizonte menos centrada no WS, as cores e seus reflexos mais fortes e o movimento das ondas mais visível na principal - são elementos que chamam minha atenção e que compõem a individualidade intransferível de cada uma.
Vejo que você é um lève-tôt, como dizem aqui ;-) Parece que alguns não tiveram tempo para ler sua nota, pois estão pensando que é um pôr-do-sol. Diga-se de passagem, o sol faz espetáculos belíssimos nos dois momentos.

belle photo de ce coucher de soleil sur cette plage de république Dominicaine.
Belle prise avec ce doux éclairage qui présage une bonne journée le lendemain.
Ces plages de sable blanc sont paradisiaques.

Hi José,

The colors of this photograph are more attractive than those of the WS although the two photographs present a beautiful paradisiac place. The image is quite made up with this end of pontoon which gives certain balances with the unit. Pretty glance, thank you José.

What a romantic view...
Its always not easy to take a shot of a beach + sunrise/set. This one, in still so exotic place for me, has something interesting in it. Amazing colours and well chosen POV gave in result a kind of lovely DR postcard.

Olá José,

Reddish sun rise tones are already painted your photo incomparably. Excellent addition of silhouettes of peninsula and part of pier in dark. Sky and reflections are beautiful. Probably you used few hours of time differences as great advantage for this early morning shoot.
