Haitian woman waiting at the Ouanaminthe/Dajabon border crossing between Haiti and the Dominican Republic. The border is closed every night, and opened each morning. The border between Haiti and the Dominican Republic constitutes one of the most sharply contrasting separations between countries in terms of economic wealth and political stability, comparable to Mexico-USA, North Corea-South Corea, etc.
