Photographer’s Note
Washing clothes in the river in Bouk-Chanpay, a slum between Port-au-Prince and Pétionville. In fact, Bouk-Chanpay is certainy not one of the poorest slum, but a relatively wealthy shanty town, where people have clean clothes, sometimes a mobile phone, and some even an old car, but still live in illegally built houses without electricity or running water, and have to wash their clothes in the river.
