Photographer’s Note

comme déjà vu,les enfants doivent participer aus travaux vitaux quotidiens,en l'occurence ,le ramassage du bois qui servira à la cuisson et au chauffage en hiver.
Il faut dire que nous sommes ici,très très loin de tout.pas d'electricité et encore moins d'eau courante,sauf celle des "rios" quand la saison est favorable.Mais tout ça se passe dans la "bonne humeur"?du plus petit au plus grand,pas le temps de se poser des questions.

I appreciate and enjoy your colection of old pictures. Some of them are noisy but the atmosphere is unique and takes us for a journey not only to Honduras but also back in time. Pleasure to look for us and probably some great memories for you.
The picture above is well composed. The background is very interesting - beside the adults there're the kids working hard.

This is a very interesting photo. I like how the people carrying the wood in the front are blurred so that your attention is drawn to those in the back. Great image!

Hi Howe,
DOn't know but this kind of wood shots- I like them. The foreground is beautiful with T shirts and luggage on right n left shoulders but the background seems to be artificial; may be a different kind of blurr.

Lets keep inmind this is scanned from an older picture.
What a great shot, the DOF with the 2.8f is just great.
Clearaty, sharpness and the somewhat darker exposure is well done.

Hi Patrick, I like this picture in the way it captures daily life - often it's so hard to catch the mundane aspects of life rather than people posing for a camera! Possibly the picture has been over-sharpened, hence the halo around the person on the left, but thatnks for sharing a 23 year old picture!

elle a une âme cette photo !
On s'y croirait, moi aussi je porte du bois sur la tête et suis la file ! ;)
J'aime ces couleurs passées et le fond flou, bien que je me demande s'il n'a pas été rajouté par la suite sur l'ordinateur.. à moins que ce ne soit pas pris avec un 28 mm.

Très belle photo. J'aime nbien la mise au point. Au début j'ai été génè par la qualité du scan et puis à forc de la regarder je trouve qu'il se dégage une grande humanité de cette photo.

yet another excellent shot Patrick thank you... to my eyes I would have cropped higher, jest below the load in the landscape mode, but this is just an alternative view and by no means a better one! :-)

Cette photo est remarquable et ce qui fait son originalité c'est la mise en valeur des deux porteurs du premier plan par une très faible profondeur de champ. La texture du bois est très bien rendue. Ces enfants sont certainement moins malheureux que des enfants riches.
