León - Young Nicaraguans

Here a trio with very young Nicaraguans on the photo. Hopefully the future will become better for them than the last months suggest.

In León in the northwest of the country it’s always a few degrees warmer than in the more southerly locations like Managua, Granada and Masaya.
When I was there, every day it was about 35 to 36°C, always sunny with blue sky and the air was slightly humid. Yet in March and April it was still the dry season and it never rained.

The very hot summer in large parts of Europe makes we’re no longer surprised by the temperatures in more distant countries.

For the children on the main picture, the bath clearly brought some cooling.

On this site I’ve read a few times that some people hesitate to take such pictures. This because of a possible reaction from the parents or other adult bystanders.
This bath stood on the sidewalk right in front of the house. The door was open and the mother was watching the scene. She looked at me and smiled. So I knew it was OK to take the photo.
I think taking pictures of other people's children is more difficult in Europe than in countries further away.
Regarding the photos in the WS, the parents of the children were also around.
