León - View from the roof of the Catedral de la Asunción de León

In the note of my picture of the cathedral of León I mentioned that a visit to its roof is recommended.
First of all for the remarkable structure but also for the beautiful views of León, other churches, the area around the city with the row of nearby volcanoes.

My main picture shows some of these volcanoes and the El Calvario Church that I’ve presented before.

In the WS two pictures that give a partial view of the roof. You don’t get the roof as a whole in one photo.

Just to mention:
Due to the robustness of its walls, this cathedral has survived earthquakes, volcanic eruptions of the nearby Cerro Negro volcano and wars.
