Photographer’s Note

The old fishing boat of the image was anchored in waters of Corn Island to 30 little meters of the border of the sea and in the middle of a beautiful reef of chorale. The resistance between the fishing boat oxidized by the passage of time, and the beauty of white sand beaches, is one more of the enchantments of Nicaragua. Indeed, the water is beautiful, nice and clear. I think maybe a horizontal would have worked better for this photo, showing more of the sea.

I like the tilt of the boat, and you have a good spot to take this photo.

malgrat la qualitat d'imatge de les antigues càmeres, aquesta foto té quelcom que la fa atractiva, potser per la seva simplicitat, quasi minimalista, i pel gran contrast gràfic entre el vaixell varat i rovellat amb els tons blaus del cel i del mar i la sorra blanca.
El format vertical fa un bon quadre.

Hi Jordi,

Nice composition. I like the vertical frame but the boat standing oblique in the center of the picture. The water is amazing transparent. Maybe the light on the boat could be little bit better.

Hola,
un pur travail artistic. La composició amb l'horitzó centrat i l'encuadre vertical van molt bé, donant molta força a la foto. Els colors i llums son magnifics,...potser el vaixell esta una mica fosc? pero a la vegada dona més contrast a la foto. A mi m'agrada així.

Bella fotografia con unos buenos colores y nitidez aunque el barco se le ve un poco oscuro.
El agua se la ve muy cristalina.

Très jolies couleurs. Pour une fois, le sujet centré ne me gène pas trop, il sépare à merveille deux séries de bleu.

Bonita toma con unos colores estupendos, lástima que el barco quedara tan oscuro y el cielo con algo de ruido, pero no le resta belleza. El color y transparencia del agua es estupendo.

Another very good shot! The colours of the water are great, going from transparent until
deep blue. Personally, I like the darkness of the boat. Combined with its position, it gives some mysterious style to the picture.
