Photographer’s Note

Avec ma photo précédente montrant les célébrations du 14 Septembre au Nicaragua, on a pu voir une petit fille remplie d’entrain et de motivation. Et elle en avait du mérite car pour défiler il faut se lever très tôt le matin, endurer soleil, pluie et longues attentes avant de devoir se farcir quelques kilomètres à pieds. Pour beaucoup d’enfants c’est naturellement un moment très difficile. Et ces enfants ont bien besoin de leurs parents pour les animer et encourager tout au long du chemin, au point que par moments je me dis qu’il faudrait demander aux mamans de se mettre aussi en uniforme vu qu’elles se montrent au moins autant que leur progéniture !

Me encanto tu fotografia y la nota, si de acuerdo las niñas tenían mucho mérito, para participar al desfile.

your title match well with the picture..all the kids look tensed and it seems all the adults are giving them unnecessary pressure

This is an interesting and telling image. There are so many different feelings in this image. I really like that you captured some of the mothers pushing their children and their children's honest reaction to it. It is a very truthful image!

It is also very interesting to see what itlooks like in Nicaragua. Ihave never been there, and it looks very interesting! Thanks for sharing.

I like shots like this, not because they're masterpeices, but because you can look at them for some time: trying to find the details beyond... well done.

Good idea Yves. With the mothers hovering close by their children, they might as well be in the act :) Or else they just get in the way and upset everyone. Or amuse everyone.

Une belle photo, qui démontre bien la difficulté...
J'aime l'action que l'on prend dans le fond, en contraste avec la solitaire à l'avant. Très bien!!
