Photographer’s Note

Ce cadrage est l'agrandissement de la partie photo où l'on voit l'enfant au complet à genoux dans l'entrée d'une maison. J'ai beaucoup hésité entre placer cet agrandissement ou l'original. Si j'ai le droit, je placerai l'autre demain.
Comme il s'agit d'un agrandissement, le bruit était très grand dans la photo et j'ai tenté de le réduire le plus possible.
Le regard de l'enfant me facine.

Beautiful, sensitive portrait. It's a little soft, but that could be as a result of the grain reduction - in any case that fits the mood.

Jacques, vous pourriez placer la photo originale comme WS, peut-être?

Splendide portrait! VOus avez choisi un bon cadrage, parfait même! Le teint de la chair de ce jeune homme se marie et de détache en même temps parfaitement bien du bleu profond qui l'entoure. Sublime.

Sorry, I have to write in English. Well: Very attractive portrait, with this trace of melancholy and wistfulness. Children are always attractive subjects, of course. This is well-composed and captures a mood. On the other hand, it can be improved. NeatImage or some similar program has been used to smooth out the skin - the result is that skin looks as if it's wrapped in plastic - it would surely be better not to touch the original, as I'm sure a young boy like this has good complexion anyway! But perhaps you were trying to sharpen? I've noticed on your other portraits that they are alsways a little un-sharp. If you are using Photoshop, the Unsharp Mask filter can sharpen very effectively, but needs some practice to use well.
