Photographer’s Note
Baracuda look like fish missiles. And with their huge over-bite, they look menacing and dangerous. I've seen them almost 2 meters in length, but usually they don't like divers and seem to move away. These baracuda were a little different. They just hung there, moving gently with the underwater current and really not changing position at all (do fish sleep?) What caught my eyes was the unusual symmetry -- the Z angle I suppose. The rising bubbles from divers below adds an interesting effect to the drab colors. It's very peaceful underwater and seeing a glimpse of this alien world is always special.
