Photographer’s Note

Looking from Albania to Greece from one of the finest places in the far south.
The sun was setting and we were eating. Do I have to tell more.

certainly a nice place to have a romantic diner with candles and champagne, gerritt !
the sky is superb of course with nice reflections on the quiet sea and what i like most, this little house and the group of 3 trees

Het is vooral die lucht die ik prachtig vind, maar ook kleine details zoals die drie bomen, hoe mooi die de compositie sieren en een mooie balans geven in de foto.

Ik had er geen idee van dat Corfu zo dicht bij Albanië ligt.
Behalve de prachtige lucht vind ik ook de compositie heel mooi met de verschillende bergruggen na elkaar, de afwisseling van land en zee en natuurlijk de drie bomen naast het huisje.

Ik ben er nooit geweest maar het ziet er zeker zeer mooi uit in Albanië of toch op de grens.

Dag, Gerrit. Met zo'n decor veronderstel ik dat je echt van je maaltijd hebt genoten. Er is een goede diepte in je beeld dankzij de bomen die er op de voorgrond zijn en dankzij de heuvels en bergen die je tot ver kunt zien. Mooie kleuren in de lucht waar er misschien een beetje meer contrast had kunnen zijn.

I used to watch the same scene, but from the other side/... in those days(60's and 70's) it was not possible to go to Albania (unless you want to spend the rest of your life in jail as a spy!)
Nice colors and peaceful mood is well conveyed. Beautiful landscape too.
