Photographer’s Note

Gjirokastra-is a city in southern Albania. Lying in the historical region of Epirus, it is also the capital of both the Gjirokastër District and the larger Gjirokastër County. Its old town is inscribed on the World Heritage List as "a rare example of a well-preserved Ottoman town, built by farmers of large estate."

Bardzo ciekawe ujecie i moim skromnym zdaniem super zagrales ze swiatlem. Domyslam sie, ze nie bylo latwo szczegolnie z tak silnym sloncem po prawej stronie.

An interesting composition of this scene, and an unusual and striking light captured. I like the sky, with its strong gradient, and the way you used the bridge as a frame for the background. Very sharp (almost too sharp, but not quite!) and well exposed to show details even in the darker section on the right. Nice work.

Hi Claude. Interesting POV using a wide angle which gives the bridge an elongated appearance. beautiful light and crisp details. You have managed to retain the tonal values of the distant hills despite all that light. well done. Regards. Klaudio.
