Photographer’s Note

Windows and more windows from Berati the City of Windows! These houses are South facing I wonder sometimes why did they need to have so many windows I do not know for sure but I assume that inside these houses must be pretty cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. I also doubt that the aesthetical considerations were on the top of the priority list some 200-300 years ago. Anyhow they are very pretty and that hardly requires much description.

Berat looks really an attractive place to visit with all the houses built above each other on that hill.
