The Zirbenweg is a famous panorama hiking and nature trail between the Glungezer and Patscherkofel mountains. It is a safe, botanical hike through the Alps' largest stone pine wood. This scenic 7 km trail meanders across centuries old fine pine woods at an elevation of 2,000 meter above sea level. The outstanding Nature Theme Trail provides hikers with good insights and appreciations into the area’s versatile fauna and flora. Most of the stone pines are short and well below your height. Colorful heathers abound. The stones & rocks scattered here & there amongst the flora make you feel like you are walking through a heavenly & naturally landscaped garden. The trail also offers stunning views of the Inn valley and the city of Innsbruck.

Weather wasn't too good when this photo was taken. I was walking in light rain & strong wind the whole time. That would explain the absence of other hikers on the trail on this day. Hope you like this photo. Regards.

The Alps are certainly a chain of mountains to the splendid photography, and this is no exception.

The side view shows in detail the path that circles the skirt of the same, with great naturalness and property. Good management of lighting, beautiful colors.

nice panoramic shot of this side of the Mts.As i read in your note a lot of flora exists on the sides of the natural trail.Indeed the weather was rather dark but there is enough light in the scene.Well done.

This path way must be full with opportunities for photography especially for landscape lovers. Mixed texture of rock and greens are creates amazing ridges. Great addition of next mountains under cloudy sky. Wonderful. Congratulations.
