GOLLING FALLS

In the part of Golling known as Torren
(„torren“ Romanic: torrential mountain river), near the fascinating late gothic pilgrimage church of St. Nikolaus, the Golling waterfalls plunge 75 metres down two giant steps into the valley below.

The thunderous Golling falls have been a popular subject for many, a romantic painter, and are a very popular destination for trips out,
being one of the provinces most attractive and romantic natural monuments.

Gollinger Wasserfall
Der Gollinger Wasserfall ist ein im Tennengau (Österreich) an der Gemeindegrenze zwischen Golling an der Salzach und Kuchl gelegener Wasserfall. Der auch Schwarzenbachfall genannte Wasserfall hat eine Höhe von 76 Meter, wobei die letzte Stufe eine Höhe von 25 Meter hat.

Der Wasserfall kann über einen Weg (teilweise Treppen) seitlich erstiegen werden. Bereits im frühen 19. Jahrhundert wurde das Naturschauspiel zugänglich gemacht und nach dem Ursprung des Wassers gesucht.

Guten Morgen, Georg!
Da haben wir ja heute fastdas gleiche Thema. Du zeigst uns hier ein wirklich schönes Naturschauspiel. Das schwierige Licht hast Du toll beherrscht - sowohl Sonnenschein als auch Schatten sind gut dargestellt. Ein eindrucksvoller Platz ... man meint, das Rauschen zu hören.

This image seem oversharpened. The view though is very pretty. The waterfall seem wild here though the trail rails above it tell us this is perhaps a popular place. Thanks Georg :-)

Hello Georg,
A well framed composition of these falls. I like the the off-centre placement and the way the light plays over the falls and the surrounding area. The rushing waters are well rendered with a good sense of dynamism. Good natural looking colours and excellent sharpness.

Hello Georg,

These waterfall leads us nice to the background, I like the little bit misty background in the forest.
Also we get a very good composition and nice depth sight.

ho visitato anche io questa cascata nel mio viaggio in Austria del 2006 e ricordo ancora il rumore dell'acqua che veniva giù..
buona gestione della poca luce e splendida inquadratura.

Bonjour Georg,
un grand bol de fraicheur ici avec cette sources de laquelle on voit toutes les goutelettes grâce à un instantané précis.
Dommage que les eaux soient un peu bleutées, ce qui je pense ne colle pas vraiment à la réalité. Superbe exposition.

Woda we wszystkich jej formach, aw szczególności upadki są moje słabości, I love the sound of objętych wody.
