I guess tourism office of Linz would not like this one.
Linz is actually quite nice town with old centre. This is shot from Pöstlingberg towards the centre, industrial suburbs in the background.
Some level adjustments and fixing blue tone of the backround. |

Hi Kari,
Very industrial, urban picture. Interesting contrast between the old town and the modern industry zone. Like heaven and hell. Best regards. maki

Very nice panoramic view. The tower of the cathedral touched by the sun is very attractive and creates a good contrast with the smoke of the factories in the background.
Good definition.
Well done!
Wow, I don`t like what I see, but the photo is great. The perspective is great and the contrast between the green foreground and the industrialized background likewise.
Well done!
Best regards,
Jan

Hi Kari,
very nice landscape, above all - as you underline in the title - for the contrast of the old architecture with the modern industries (and the smog...)
Your image describes very well the situation, good job, thanks!
ciao, Giorgio
This is an impressive panorama Kari. You are right, it probably isn't what the tourist office would like you to be posting, but the contrast between the town and all the chimneys in the background is what makes this shot. I particulary like the contrast in the lighting between the foreground buildings and the industrial buildings in the background, most of which are in shadow. One small point, this is very slightly tilted and needs a minor CCW correction. Cheers . . . David
