Starting a little series of museums of transport.
Vienna has an extensive network of tram routes. And they have a long history starting from 1800s. Wiener Tramwaymuseum has a good collection of trams on show on old tram sheds.
This type 'D' tram number 244 was built in 1901. It was in service until 1973. It is still in working condition and has made appearances on the city streets on special occasions.
