Il faisait froid ce matin sur le lac.
La lumière venait de percer les brumes.
Les oiseaux engourdis avaient à peine la force de voler.
J'étais seul sur le bord du lac de Constance.
J'ai aimé cette atmosphère d'un hivers radieux.

The weather was cold this morning on the lake.
The light had just bored the fogs.
The birds had hardly the force to fly.
I was alone on the edge of the lake of Constance.
I liked this atmosphere of one radiant winters.

Superbe composition et ambiance vraiment top. L'atmophère brumeuse et les teintes pastel donnent une image de toute beauté. On sent d'ici le petit matin frisquet.
J'aurais juste mis un petit coup de tampon sur la branche qui dépasse à droite... pour chipoter un peu ,-)

Bertrand - the stillness of the morning has been captured well and the hint of frost on the pier shows us it is cold. As always, sharp and well exposed.

a classic composition of a jetty jutting diagonally across the water with a subdued light and a misty distant background. Very nice. Nice lens as well, love using mine as it's so sharp.

Yes this looks very cold,but nice and calm,too.
Excellent POV and good composition with the diagonal of the balustrade paralel to the row of trees in the distance.Great depth with the few white buildings at the horizon.

Eh bien je ne sais pas si j'irais piquer un tête dans cette eau glaçée !
Les bords de ce lac me rapellent fortement les rives du lac de Neuchâtel ! Le style de ce petit ponton en moins ! La lumière est ici très belle et très douce ! Il semble que tout soit encore endormi ce qui donne à cette photographie un coté très calme et très serein !

Hello Bertrand, this is a beautiful shot of this lake, with the frost encrusted pier. Composition with this pier jutting into the lake is good. I like the fog in the background, and misting across the water, giving you that great light, and the birds trying to catch a bit of early sun. Very nicely done. One very small thing. In your personal shot, you might want to lose the branch on the top right corner.

Hi Bertrand!I like this type the placement in the plan of your subjects in in the picture! in diagonal prospect and at the same time the left winger wooden dock and the right mountain and in the middle the coast with the trees, Also I love also the atmosphera of morning in the lake!

bonjour Bertrand, je n aurais pas pense voir cette photo dans cette region.. tu as compose avec une tre bonne diagonale qui emmene ntre egard au loin, tres douces couleurs.. bravo et passe une bonne journee

Une belle image du lac Constance par ce matin froid, la prise de vue donne de la profondeur à la photo. Elle reçoit une bonne luminosité ce qui fait ressortir les couleurs. Le sujet est bien cadré. Un endroit pour penser et réfléchir. Bonne journée.

This one relies completely on the composition, Bertrand, because the subject matter isn't so special. And a great compostion it is, with all the line converging toward the gazebo at the end of the pier. The gazebo is ideally placed in the frame, too, and the low-angle light brings out all the details beautifully. Regards, Ken.

Une perspective magistrale sur la jettee et le petit batiment vers lequelle elle conduit. On retrouve sur cette image la quietude et la fraicheur qui caracterisent certaines de tes plus belle contributions. La lumiere, tres douce, y est sans doutes pour beaucoup.
