Riegersburg castle

The more than 850-year-old Riegersburg on the rock of a volcanic mountain.
It is one of the most interesting to visit castles in Austria, both for its huge structure and for the sight it is possible to enjoy from there.
This is the way to enter the castle.
Since only a few years is possible to reach it through a cableway.

Hello Livia,
You have chosen a good pov. The perspective is very unusual in that we are looking down, and yet still looking up! The leading lines take the eyes straight to the 'open mouth' of the doorway.
Good details, very nicely balanced and with interesting notes. (I'd like to visit here!)

Mi sembra che le manchi un po' di contrasto.
Il resto è arte: la lunga prospettiva verticale, i fiori, la figura umana che cammina e soprattutto la ripresa intermedia: non è dall'alto, non è dal basso, ma è tutti e due.

I like the way the flower garden points to the castle. Besides the nice add to the composition it also add a good splash of color. The windows also add a nice touch. You got a good contrast on the grey sky.
