St Jan in Eremo

Sint-Jan-in-Eremo is a village in the Belgian province of East Flanders and a part of the municipality of Sint-Laureins. It had 1,008 inhabitants on January 1, 2008. However, the majority of them live in the Bentille core (almost 75%) and not in the small rural village of Sint-Jan-in-Eremo, which has only a few houses. The rural village is in the Meetjesland.

Description
Water tower from 1983 of the mushroom type, constructed from concrete and consisting of a high conical tub with a volume of 800 m³ on a shaft narrowing downwards, columns up to the shaft as buttresses.
