Taken during a visit to Bruges

History of my picture.
The Dijver is a watercourse and a street in the historic centre of Bruges. The route runs from Gruuthusebrug to Rozenhoedkaai and Huidenvettersplein. The same street is on the southern shore of the reed and runs from the Gruuthusebrug to the Wollestraat and the Rozenhoedkaai. The Dijver is part of the course of the original Reie River and is being spanned by the Gruuthus bridge and the Johannes Nepomucenus bridge.
Today, the street has a varied function, including commercial and educational activities (Europol College), catering and, to a lesser extent, housing. Rubbish and folklore markets are often also found. Furthermore, the Dijver has an important museum function with the presence of the Groeningemuseum, the Arentshuis and the Gruuthusemuseum.
